This portal will keep abreast of all that is happening within the Notarial Profession locally and on the global scene and will provide another means to bridge the gap between the Notarial Council, the Notarial College, the Authorities, the Institutions and the private Citizen in general.

President's Message

President - Dr. Roland Wadge This is indeed an exciting and crucial time to be a practicing Notary in Malta! The changes that are taking place in our Profession call for the Maltese Notary to 'seize the day' and reap the best possible benefits for the Profession. The Maltese Notariat is among the oldest in Europe, with the first Maltese Notary dating as far back as the 15^th Century. Certainty, impartiality and independence have been the elements intrinsically associated with the Profession over the centuries. It is our duty to take the Profession from strength to strength through up-to-date knowledge, improved efficiency and untainted transparency, reassuring the private citizen and society in general that the Notary is still the beacon of legal certainty and security. It is every Notary's obligation to be professionally accomplished, intellectually dynamic and mentally pro-active to take on the challenges the future holds.
